Hogorites are one of the major Human ethnicities living in Calyara. Because of their nomadic, warrior past, the Hogorites are thought of by the rest of the continent as savage, murderous barbarians, despite the fact that the Hogorites have become one of the more advanced human subcultures in recent years. The Hogorites are well known for their close relationship with the Orcs of Calyara, and the percentage of Half-Orcs of Hogorite parentage is so high that some of the more ignorant races think of the region of Hogor as being populated entirely by Half-Orcs. This belief has given rise to the popular ethnic slur "Swineblood", a word sure to warrant a death sentence when said in front of a Hogorite.
