Calyara is one of two major continents on the planet of Kothor.
Geography[]
Northwest[]
The region of plains and plateaus the Northwestern portion of Calyara is home to mainly humans and Dwarves.

North[]
The area North of Calyara is most notable for its colonies of Stone Giants encircling Mt. Daiyamu. An elvish city, Kormon, is also located on the northern shores of the continent.

Northeast[]
The northeast region of the continent is frigid and unforgiving. Few of the common races have attempted to settle the area but the greatest of the dwarven tribes makes their home in Theodis.

East[]
The eastern section of Calyara is notable for it's rolling hills and two major rivers. Like most of the continent humans have a presence in the area but are equalled by the number of Orcs and Half-orcs.

Southeast[]
In the southeast of the main continent lies the Elven city and base of Elam's power, Yazta. The ruins of Stopkrag lie off shore surrounding the great whirlpool of Majeden. Beyond these ruins is the Extinct volcano Cymow, home to the majority of Calyara's Gnomes.

South[]
The south is marked by it's untamed jungles and mass of rivers that feed into The Whispering Sea. Many peoples and creatures occupy the jungles, most notably Lizardfolk. Farther to the West lays the human settlement and port of Gelgrikal's Landing.

Southwest[]
Calyara's southwestern portion is home to a great number of Halflings, Gnolls, and of course Humans. Farther South is a the desert subcontinent of Kujdestar, which shares its name with its largest city.

West[]
The area referred to as "The west" contains the portion of the continent from Icenii to the Thundering Coast. The plains are dotted with trade routes and small communities of all races.
